     Van Elementary will focus on raising student achievement in both reading and math, while creating a positive culture for students to work in. All students will have 90 minutes of reading and 60 minutes of math each day.

     A Title I teacher will be utilized for co-teaching, and RTI will be used to offer additional reading time for those who need it. Students will be progress monitored every two weeks and will be placed into Tiers II or III if they are identified as at-risk for areas of reading. Those identified will receive additional reading support offered by the Title I teacher.

     Benchmark tests and Acuity will be used to identify struggling math students and will also be used to reprioritize curriculum for all students. All decisions related to curriculum, will be backed and supported by student data.
