Remember to keep saving boxtops.  When you send in boxtops make sure you put your child's name, grade, and teacher on the form.  The class with the most boxtops at the end of the month gets a free recess.

 

Please make sure your child is coming to school daily.  Attendance is important in your child succeeding at school.

 

RSP Trip (Responsible Student Program)  Students will qualify for a field trip at the end of the nine weeks.  To be eligible they must have a grade point average of 2.0, no more than 2 home excuses, and no detentions.

 

The students in second through fifth grade have been participating in the Eagle's Nest Program.  The students from Van High School have been coming to their classroom every Thursday.  They have been completing activities with them centered around character education.  They have been doing a wonderful job.  Thank you Eagles Nest Program.  Our students look forward to this.
